A dwarf Genovese basil with a highly compact growth habit, short internodes, and broad oval leaves of brilliant green color. This variety is intensely aromatic but lacks a mint scent due to the absence of methyl-cavicol. It is particularly suited for pot production and has a high essential oil content. The seeds have been tested and exempt from Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. basilicum, Downy mildew, Rhizoctonia solani, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, Erwinia spp., Pseudomonas spp., and Dodder.
